Everything started when four members left Sabaton 2012 and formed a new band together with the well known singer Nils Patrik Johanssons. Civil war was born.

In October 2012 the band releases the debut EP. The song ” Rome is Falling” turned into a radio hit and the record sold very good.

The album titles of the three first albums were settled when the band found a novel trilogy about the American civil war written by Michael and Jeff Shaara. The titles ”The Killer Angels”, ”Gods and Generals” and ”The Last Full Measure” were perfect titles for metal albums.

Civil War has already toured all over Europe and played at some of Europes finest and biggest festivals. However, the band has agreed to increase their touring and spend a lot more days on the road to meet the fans and to promote their incredible albums.
